Statement of Faith

(A) We believe that the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, is the infallible, inerrant, verbally inspired Word of God. The King James Version of the Bible is the official Bible used for the church (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:20-21).
(B) We believe in one triune God existing in three distinct persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19; John 14:10, 26).
(C) We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. That He was born of a virgin. That He is both God and man. That He shed His blood on the cross of Calvary, died, and rose again on the third day and now sits at the right hand of the Father (Isa. 7:14; 9:6; Acts 2:32-33; Heb. 9:11-12, 25-28).
(D) We believe that man is totally depraved and unable to save himself. That through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, He has provided salvation for all of mankind if they will place their faith and trust in Him (Rom. 3:9-28; Eph. 2:8-9; 5:8).
(E) We believe that once a person accepts Christ as their Savior, their salvation is secure in Him forever, and that one day Christ will return to receive them unto Himself (John 6:37-40; 10:27-30; 1 Pet. 1:4-5; 1 Thess. 4:13-18).
(F) We believe that once a person accepts Christ as their Savior they should be baptized, by immersion in water, in obedience to His command (Matt. 28:19-20; Acts 8:35-38).
(G) We believe the local church is made up of baptized believers whose mission is to spread the gospel (“good news”) of Jesus Christ to all of mankind. And that regardless of their economic or social status, culture, education, or ethnicity, as long as they give a testimony of salvation and are baptized by immersion in water, they can be a member of this local assembly of believers (Matt. 28:19-20; Acts 2:41).
(H) We believe that all the saved should live in such a manner as not to bring reproach upon the name of Christ (1 Cor. 6:19-20; 1 John 2:15-17).
